2 TPH Steam-Flaked Corn Production Line Signed & Shipped for Morocco | Bellaex

In July 2025, Bellaex signed a 2 TPH steam-flaked corn turnkey solution for a ruminant feeding project in Morocco, following on-site technical alignment around raw corn conditions, ration structure, capacity planning, and implementation schedule.

The project followed a verification-first approach. In spring 2025, the customer visited China to review a running reference application—focusing on equipment stability, process control, and evaluation items that can be checked on site.

In February 2026, the full equipment set was crated and dispatched via Tanger Med as the logistics milestone toward on-site installation and commissioning.

Why steam-flaked corn in this context? When grain supply and pricing fluctuate, improving nutrient utilization per unit of corn can be more actionable than increasing inclusion rates. Steam flaking is designed to raise starch gelatinization and digestibility by controlling moisture, heat, and shear through a repeatable industrial process.

During the solution phase, the project’s value was framed around three operational outcomes: feed saving, utilization efficiency, and feeding output consistency. Based on the customer’s ration structure and preliminary process assumptions, feed-saving potential was assessed as an estimated range—including a working estimate of up to ~25% corn reduction—that must be validated on-site. Actual results depend on incoming corn moisture, ration design, and finalized flaking parameters, and should be confirmed through commissioning trials with an agreed verification method and KPI set.

Instead of relying on narrative claims, the line is defined by controllable parameter windows and measurable acceptance items. Typical targets include warm-water moisture addition (e.g., 40–50°C) with soaking time adjusted to incoming corn moisture, steam conditioning with controlled time/temperature, flaking with roller surface temperature managed (e.g., 80–90°C), and flake thickness set to a defined range (commonly 1.2–1.8 mm, with tolerance as required). Drying and cooling are configured to reach a storage-ready moisture target and stable finished-product handling.

Bellaex’s role stays delivery-focused: the team delivered the core flaking equipment package and coordinated commissioning readiness items such as process alignment, operating checks, documentation preparation, and wear-parts planning prior to start-up.

With 150+ steam-flaked corn turnkey reference projects and participation in drafting China’s national standard for steam-flaked corn, Bellaex standardizes projects around engineering readiness and measurablsubjective outcomes.

What this means for you

If you are planning a similar capacity line, key acceptance checks typically include:

  • Flake thickness range (and tolerance)

  • Fines rate after screening

  • Moisture after drying (storage-readiness target)

  • Gelatinization verification method (defined before trials)

  • Data logging for bulk density / thickness trends
