Centrifugally Cast "White Iron" Layer We manufacture our Crumbler Rollers using Centrifugal Composite Casting. This high-speed process drives pure alloy materials to the periphery, creating a dense, defect-free "White Iron" working layer (Chilled Cast Iron). This outer shell provides extreme hardness (HS 70–75) to resist the scouring action of corn and limestone, while the softer grey iron core absorbs the shock loads typical in pellet crumbling.

Precision CNC Corrugation The performance of a Crumbler Roller lies in its teeth. We utilize advanced CNC fluting machines to cut precise corrugation profiles—including standard horizontal, spiral, and the popular LePage cuts. Unlike traditional grinding, our CNC cutting ensures every flute has the exact angle and depth required for a clean "shearing" effect, which is critical for minimizing fines.

Specialized Alloy Matrix (LTCrMoNi) To combat the abrasive nature of mineral additives, we dope our iron with Nickel, Chromium, and Molybdenum. This LTCrMoNi alloy stabilizes the carbide structure within the iron, ensuring that the sharp edges of the corrugation do not chip or "round off" prematurely, maintaining peak crumbling efficiency for longer periods.

Rigorous Hardness Depth Control We know that feed mills re-grind their rolls to save costs. That is why we strictly control the chill depth (hardness layer) to ensure it is thick enough (typically 10–25mm) to support multiple re-corrugating cycles without hitting the soft core.
